Planning the wall
A mirror wall is a layout problem before it's a glass problem. We measure the run, find where the wall is out of plumb, and work out panel sizes that minimize seams while still fitting through your doorways and hallways. That's why we come out rather than quoting off a floor plan.
We also plan around what's already on the wall — outlets, thermostats, ballet barres, fire equipment, wall-mounted racks — and around how high the bottom edge needs to sit so benches and dumbbells don't reach the glass.
Specification and safety
For commercial and shared fitness spaces we recommend safety-backed mirror. If the glass is ever struck, the backing holds the fragments together instead of letting them come down. In a room with free weights and classes, that's the spec worth paying for.
Mounting matters as much as the glass. Every install is anchored for the actual wall construction, with the right adhesive and mechanical support for the panel weight. All work follows Florida and Georgia safety-glass requirements.

- Large panels sized to your wall, butted tight so the seams are minimal. Panel size is limited by what can physically be carried through your doors and hallways, so we plan the layout around your building access during the site visit.
- Do gym mirrors need to be safety-backed?
- For commercial fitness spaces we recommend safety-backed mirror, which holds the glass together if it's ever struck. It's the responsible spec anywhere weights, equipment or classes are involved.
- How high off the floor should the mirrors start?
- Most gyms mount the bottom edge above the floor so equipment, benches and baseboards don't chip the glass. We'll recommend a height based on how the room is used.
